Two men were injured while fishing Friday afternoon when a pier collapsed.  The incident happened near Pirates Landing on South Padre Island.  The Brownsville Herald states:

Ruben Hernandez, 20, and Emmanuel Trevino, 17, both from Brownsville fell through the concrete slab to the ground below, and had minor injuries, officials said.
